Chichén Itzá and Valladolid
Chichén Itzá is one of the main archaeological sites of the Yucatán península, is located in the municipality of Tinum, in the state of Yucatán. It consisted of a city or a ceremonial center, which passed through different constructive epochs and influences of the different peoples that occupied it and that promoted it since its foundation. Important and renowned vestige of the Mayan civilization. The main buildings that remain there correspond to the period called Late Classic or Early Postclassic (800-1100 AD).
Chichén Itzá was inscribed on the list of World Heritage by Unesco in 1988
Pick up around 8:00 am in your hotel lobby, please note that it takes around 2 1/2 hrs. to get to Chichén Itzá (if you want to enjoy the site before the majority of visitors gets there, we can also arrange an earlier pick up. e.g. 6:30 am);
Guided tour to and inside Chichén Itzá archeological site: about 2 1/2 hrs.
Swimming in a private Cenote after the ruins to cool off;

Free time for pictures and shopping in Valladolid;
